Samen eten / vol. 6 TANABATA (Star Festival)
The pop up event 'Samen eten' is a special lunch party celebrating Japanese dishes. We Japanese celebrate many times during the year. For example New Year's Day, the ‘beginning-of-spring-day', Children's day, Star festival, Full moon day and so on. Most of theses events are related to the season and have their own special dishes.
To me this is one of the great parts of Japanese culture which I would love to share with you.
So the third event is 'TANABATA’ (Star Festival). TANABATA is an event related to the stars. It's based on the legend that only once a year, Hikoboshi(Altair) and Orihime(Vega), two lovers, would be allowed to meet each other at the shores of the heavenly river. the moment would take place on the night of July 7th in the lunisolar calendar.
On the night of 7th July of every year, people write their wishes on colorful strips and hang them on bamboo leaves. Let's make wishes together!
UNOBENTO will serve "NAGASHI SOMEN"(flowing noodle). It's a Japanese summer tradition. It serves SOMEN noodles not in a bowl or a plate, but racing by in a bamboo pipe(this time will be different pipe) full of flowing water. You catch the SOMEN noodles with your chopsticks, dip the noodles in a cup of flavorful soup and eat. I've had this dish once or twice in my life. would be great to have it with you!!

NOTE:
- Somen noodles contain gluten. the soup for noodles originally contain fish soup stock. but UNOBENTO also will prepare vegan soup stock for noodle too.
- You are a co-creator for this event. So please be there at the latest at 12:00.
- Seats are limited so first come first serve with a maximum of 25 seats. this time will be a buffet-style lunch.
- There are free parking spaces, please feel free to use it.

いっしょにたべよう/ vol. 6 七夕まつり
「いっしょにたべよう」は日本の四季にある様々なお祝い/お祭りをその料理とともに楽しむイベントです。
みんなでワイワイ大家族な気分でごはんを楽しむ会です。
7月7日は七夕ですね。
今回は１週間早いのですが流しそうめんとスイカ割り,短冊を書いたりしてみんなでワイワイするお昼ごはん会です。
流しそうめん台を特設しますから是非遊びに来てくださいね(^^)/

*今回のお料理はそうめんなのでグルテン入りです。そうめんつゆはベーガンのものも用意する予定です。
*参加者の皆さんと一緒にいただきますをするので12:00までに会場にいらしてください。
*このイベントの定員は25名になります。先着順になり、人数に達し次第受付を終了いたします。今回は基本的に立食形式になります。会場にはテーブルと椅子もありますからご自由になさってくださいね。
*会場は有料駐車場があります。どうぞご利用ください。
